Just thought I'd inform you all, I've decided to fix up my DA, for my own purposes.
I will be changing my name here to
kjimagery @ deviantart.com << or something similar
I will be keeping those for commercial purposes. I will use those for my photography and traditional art, in the hope of getting my name out there and hopefully selling some prints and/or artwork, which would be absolutely lovely.
I will be opening up a new account with this old name > blink-imagery @ deviantart.com < where I will store my character refs, HARG/SIM animals, photomanips, and all sorts of digital workings, for the likings of my equiverse.

Day 01 - When and why you started riding.
I started officially taking lessons at the beginning of 2004. Why you ask? Why any young horse crazy girl would. For the sake there were horses. I'd be horse crazy since I could remember, and always wanted to ride. Saddle Club were my inspiration :/ haha
Day 02- The last time you rode a horse and what you did?
Yesterday morning. I rode trackwork on the racehorses. Did a few gallops. and I'll be doing the same again tomorrow.
Day 03- A video of your best riding
Probably isn't my best but no one ever videos me. Anyways this was my first jump out in about August this year.

Day 04- Describe the important horses you've had in your life
Red- My bay stockhorse gelding. He has been ONE OF THE MOST important figures in my life. For going on 5 years now, he lifted me up from a depressed teenager, re-taught me to trust and love, and to begin riding again after 3 or so months of with depression and personal problems. Red has been there, through thick and thin, fire and ice. He's my rock, down to the very bottom of my heart. It's hard to try and explain it, unless you've experience what I have. He's my best friend, my soul mate, he's everything to me.
Jacko- My brown TB gelding. I've had him for 2 & 1/2 years and boy hasn't he brightened my life. He's laid back attitude and personality are second to none. He's taught me patience most importantly and perseverance. He's grown from a scraggly, wooly, unmanned mammoth to a beautiful glowing stead. He ALWAYS make me smile, even if it is just from headbutting me, nussling me or giving me a back scratch with his head.
Sticks-- To the horse, whose love and care kept me going when I wasn't strong enough to keep myself going alone. For being my bestfriend when I had nothing. For letting me spend the endless hours, just sitting the the paddock with you, talking out all my problems and crying my heart out to you while you listened. Rest In Peace, my boy, Sticks N Stones. May your soul run the endless fields of love. You will never be forgotten.

In my first year of riding, I wasn't that great and had just learned to canter. Going cross country, cantering and then BAM! Horse stops at VERY small log and WEEEEE down I go over the handle bars.. Why I still remember that 10 years ago who knows haha
Day 06- All the tack and riding clothes you have (brand/color/other details)
Oh dear god! What kind of question is this!~ 1 unbranded black all purpose saddle, 1 black status endurance all purpose (best saddle ever), 1 unbranded but very skillfully crafted brown stock saddle, with rings, 1 brown very old leather racing saddle. NUMEROUS leather bits and pieces of bridles, full sets and elsewheres. about a dozen saddle cloths, probably more, boots of all sorts for humans and horses, 2 whips, a few ribbons browbands. oh god... AND SO MUCH MORE.
Oh and I'm a jockey, so the endless list of tack and clothes associated with that which I am NOT bothering to list.
Day 07- Your favorite ribbon won at a show and why?
All the ribbons I won on Sticks, because they were all first. But more importantly the age champion for sporting I won of Flossy. This was my first show since Sticks passed away and to all those who bitched about me ALWAYS winning and "that it was the horse"... I beat you all, on an uneducated, spastic, one eyed mare. Suck it!
Day 08- A little about the barn/stable you ride at
G.D.Yorke Racing. Located in Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia. Currently have 34 horses in work at the moment, and a VERY large amount in the paddock at the moment.
Day 09- Any injuries that occurred from riding
Permanent bad back from riding when I was growing. Oh well!
Scars on my knees from where the skin had come clean off whilst riding track work when I started. And when I fell off, a 'half horse shoe' shaped scare below my left knee and permanent numbing of one section.. apparently the doctors weren't all that worried but oh well.
Lumps on both my shins from track work riding- calluses perhaps?
Day 10- How your family/friends feel about your riding
MY family are very pleased with how I'm riding and what I'm doing. My friends don't really understand how much hard work goes into it, and my boyfriend is VERY supportive but wishes I wouldn't talk of horses so much!
Day 11- Find a horse for sale online that you would want to buy
Day 12- Favorite horse color
I love them all! But I have a soft spot for buckskins :3 ... and roans.
Day 13- A video of your worst riding
I don't have many video's of me riding, and none that are terrible on my computer anyways, just recent racing vids.
Day 14- Your dream barn/farm
It's have to be all timber/wooden or marble. Big floodlight arena or two. Round yard. The boxes would be huge and/or have day yards attached to them. Trails to ride on right outside the gate. Endless paddocks to gallop through.
Day 15- If you could speak to any horse, dead or alive, what would you say?
Sticks.. I miss you everyday my old friend. I used to feel your presence with me all the time, but it's fading. I'm afraid it's me forgetting you, but I could never do that. You're memories are more than frames on the wall, they're imprinted in my mind and I just wish you could be around to see where I am now. You'd be so proud of me. I miss you so much, please come visit me soon.

I wouldn't say I 'jump' out, but I certainly don't snooze. If I could though I would. I think I'm more of the 'moan and drag myself up' type.

I have a bad memory.. but I do remember my first horse ride ever, when i was about 6 or so.

Long Lost Update + Quiz.

Hey watchers! Just wanted to update you all that Europe was extremely epic. I shall have more photos up, but I'm that busy that I'll probably be uploaded 1 every month, if I can get to that even. Anyways. I'm in this weird mood. So if you;d like to know more about my trip from Aus. To Europe, comment or give me a yell or something.
I'm tired, yet I can't sleep. I have to get up at 5:30am to go to work in the morning and I really wanted to sleep in this morning and I woke upa t 5:47am >
Which made me a bit angry. Also I've seen my boyfriend once this week, he's not been coming to school, which is bugging me, so yeah rant rant rant. School sucks as usual, im sore from riding racehorses, I have to ride in the morning, I want a weekend off. I just want a break.
So anyways, here's a quiz I found on someones profile, I'm bored and I need something to get my mind of things.

I do wish the world wasn't so ridiculously full of stupidity, ego and violance.

2. I own 2 beautiful geldings who are part of my soul.
3. My bestfriend and I, fell for each other. It's only taken us 4 years to actually admit it, and be in a relationship with each other. Only 4 years haha <3

6. Im have a weird and unknown knowledge of just about anything got to do with horses. God knows where i got all the info from, but its just in my head.

8. I get angry, really quickly. Little things annoy me, fast. But 99% of the time, Im very happy, and almost hypo. xD

2. When a guy goes right out of his way to do something spectacular for his girl, especially in front of his friends, and to stand there and cope the criticism from their mates. Even if its something simple, just like laying with them under the stars, or offering to walk them to work.
3. I tend to be more attracted to males to are unque to other. Not heaps, as to make them totally weird, haha. But enough to make them, different, or special.
